Still Chechessee, but after walking Dormie many times the last couple of weeks, it is not as bad as I have thought. The one walk that is clearly atrocious is the walk from 15 tee to the fairway.
The elevation changes at Dormie do not make the walk harder.
I would love to see pics of Tiger pulling a trolley.
Hard to notice the greatness from the cart paths!
It hurts walking and also takes away from the way the course was intended to be played. There’s a reason the great courses have great routings. The architect didn’t just throw 18 randoms spots on the course for holes and then name the closest tee to the clubhouse #1 and the closest green #18.

9 at Tobacco Road, though some my call it a hard hole and not necessarily a great hole.
At Mid Pines the green to tee flow is so close you are likely going to walk more if you walk from a green to your cart, ride to the next tee, and walk to the tee.
I tried this at Southern Pines GC and they were not interested. Said their main customer was older people that cartball.
