How can you prepare for tourneys that require walking and take a cart when you are at home? Also one is throwing off timing as in arriving to one’s ball too soon. Seems like poor preparation imo. Very much understand the rust with not playing competitive golf. I just don’t understand when you have financial resources that he and almost every touring pro does, why you wouldn’t take a caddie or trolley when playing at home?

Not sure why one would cartball it while preparing for a 4 round tournament…. seems like walking during prep rounds would help especially going into Sunday.
Turf conditions are learned most while walking the land and feeling it below your feet. Always helps me manage my game during a round plus it helps me make Managememt decisions to the turf.
I’m sure the clubs Tiger is at in South Florida require a cart or a caddie.
Pretty sure he doesn’t want every practice move documemented via the caddieworld gossip line which is rarely accurate and a real thing.
I don’t know what the SE Florida club policies are, but I worked at a 300k initiation SW Florida joint and members could carry their clubs. Something tells me if Tiger and buds wanted to play golf with a Trolley they could. The thinking was if you pay that much for a golf club, you can do whatever the heck you want. Totally understand not wanting a caddie due to privacy. I don’t know, but it would be great if more Golf pro’s and touring pro’s used trolleys or carried on there “for fun” rounds!
