    The ongoing science experiment that is my game offers many opportunities in the coming year … Maybe replace 4W with 5W? GMax 5I 24* instead of 5H (even hacks can carry a “blended set”)? Try a Cleveland Huntington Beach #1 putter? Fairways and greens in the coming year!

    I stand corrected Ben, and you are welcome. Nothing most golfers like talking about more than gear. I think readers here are unique–we all probably have a full (or multiple) sets, but by necessity or a desire for simplicity and minimalism, work at lightening the load. A most interesting journey.
