The Walking Golfers Society is dedicated to providing information about the many benefits of walking when you golf, which is how the game was intended to be played. If you are a passionate walking golfer then please join our growing Society and help us advocate for the enjoyment of golf as a walking game.
Wildwood Golf Course – easy walk. Flat and just over 5700 yards.
I have played the following courses in Saskatchewan – there is only one tough to walk in the bunch – Deer Valley – I have yet to walk it actually – there are two “manageable”, Golf Kenosee and Katepwa Beach, which is ironic because I love to walk and these two courses, along with Riverside and Dakota Dunes and Waskesiu, stand head and shoulders above the rest in the province in terms of playing experience – Kenosee and Katepwa each has a couple climbs that raise heart rate – Katepwa has a couple lengthy green to tee walks – the rest are easy for anyone who regularly carries and walks.
