Anyone that is living in Michigan please post on here your contact. People can start new threads for other states, Providences, or Countries. That way people can meet fellow Walkers in their state or reach out to people if they are visiting a state, providence, or Country.
Heads up to anyone in SE Michigan who is planning to play Pierce Lake in Chelsea. They generally charge a lower rate to walk (a rarity in the Detroit area, unfortunately), but if you book a tee time online, they’ll try to charge you the cart rate. Their booking system is through GolfNow, and there’s no walking option when you book online. Fortunately, when I checked in, the guy charged me the walking rate, and then later they couldn’t figure out how to change it. Judging by the number of other walkers I saw out there (zero), it doesn’t come up much, I’m guessing.
