I think #2 is over rated. There are more memorable courses in the sandhills. Like Dormie club, Mid Pines or even Pine Needles.
The price is definitely overrated! I think the 3rd and 9th are all world holes and the rest are all very good. All this without any water in play is a very remarkable design imo. I feel the greens offer many creative shoots into them which many courses can’t say.
Hard to notice the greatness from the cart paths!
